SARVARIGU `SARVAGNA MATTE HUTTI BAA` LAUNCHED!

On the Bundh day in Bangalore at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Temple in Bull Temple Road veteran actor Srinivasamurthy switched on the camera for the ‘Sarvagna Santosh’ decked for the occasion while producer BK Srinivas sounded the clap board.

The film ‘Sarvagna Mathomme Huttiba’ is based on ‘Sarvagna’ of the 16th century who is said to have written over two crores of ‘Vachananas’ of two liners. Uttangi Chennappa was able to get around 2500 such Vachanas. Producer cum director Shivakumar is using around 250 Vachanas of ‘Sarvagna’ for the film.

Shivakumar ambition to make a film on Sarvagna dates back to 1968. In the first meeting with Uttangi Channappa he came to know about the collections of ‘Vachanas of Sarvagna’. Now he has been able to make a film.

On the title card also he is using the Vachanas. Santosh is playing elderly Sarvagna, Chiraag is Bala Sarvagna, Mahalakshmi Layout MLA Ne La Narendra babu is playing Lord Shiva, Ramakrishna is Basavaras, Srinivasamurthy is playing Guru, Mali is Pavithra Lokesh, Jalagara is likely Umasri, Thara is playing Smt Sarvagna disclosed Shivakumar who was once assistant to great director of Indian cinema V Shantharam.

The shooting in 42 days will be held at Anegudda ancient house in Mysore, Mudukadri, Talakad, 3Saavira Math, Ambali, Gagad, Srishaila, Gokarna, Kashi, Gaya and at Himalaya the climax will be shot.

For this film of Shivakumar of ‘Sarvagna’ 18 literary personalities are giving a brief speech on the legendary Sarvagna.

Five songs are included in this film. DR BS Swamy is the dialogue writer. Raj Bhasker has completed the song recording. Muthuraj is the cameraman.
